Questions and Answers
- an essay comparing 2 quotes

Everyday, we wake up with questions. Questions that we try so hard to answer, but as minutes become hours and hours become days, the questions never seem to be answered. It almost seems as if they were just questions without answers. As we grow older and become more experienced with life, we also realize that “the essential is invisible to the eyes. We can only see with the heart”. I believe that the questions are the “essential” of life and the answers will come deep down from our hearts.

I believe that everything you do for someone else or the questions you answer come from the heart. SD If we live our life following our hearts, the answers will come. CM Sometimes, our heart will guide us through the unthinkable. CM Without even knowing it, we will have lived through our
questions, only to find the answers. SD We can only live the big questions with a big heart. CM The things you do for someone come from the heart. CM The things you share with someone comes from the heart. SD Our lives are full of questions and mysteries. We must let our hearts lead us through our answers. CM We must let our hearts lead us through life. CS Only the heart contains all the questions and we must let it give us the answers.
Life without questions would be like a wallet without money. Life would be hollow and plain and there would be nothing to dream for or nothing to live through (loose sentence). SD Many people have a warm and giving heart. CM They are ready to help the people in need, live their way into the answers. CM They are ready to give their heart and altruism so that others can also have answers to their own questions. SD Unlike a big vast open ocean, the heart is a “locked room” which contains the deepest and hardest questions of life. CM Our questions are locked and unanswered so that we can have a chance to live everything- the good and the bad. CM No one knows what is in a heart until questions are asked. SD A wallet without money is like a heart without questions. CM Questions are meant to be asked, only to be answered from the heart. CM Questions are part of our life and we must wait for the answers to come. CS The questions are what makes our life whole and our heart full.

Our eyes only help us see what we look for in a world. Our heart lead us through our questions. Our heart contains everything, so much kindness, so much warmth, and so many questions (loose sentence). The heart lets us live through everything and answers our questions. Every night, we fall asleep with new questions but we don’t search for the answers, we let life take us through them.

Dearest Julie,
I LOVEDDDD reading this essay. I think my favorite part is at the end of the first body paragraph, when you say, "We must let our hearts lead us through our answers. We must let our hearts lead us through life." This peice of writing really made me think about the questions I ask myself every day.

If I was to change your essay,I would probably add in some citations. You demonstrate your message so wonderfully, but I think that a reader might be a little unclear about where these ideas came from. Also, maybe somewhere in here you could use a personal experience or example. At the end of the second paragraph, you repeat the same point a lot, which is very powerful, but maybe a specific example would improve it even more!
Again, I really enjoyed reading this essay. Your writing is beautiful.

Love, Anna

Julie,
I loved reading your essay. I liked the part where you said, "Our eyes only help us to see what we want in a world." That sentence stood out to me.

I did however notice some missing commas. I myself am not very good at placing commas, so this is just my opinion. I also think that in this sentence, "CM The things you share with someone comes from the heart" that it should be come instead of comes. Your essay was great. See you tomarrow,
Caroline
